Every kingpin is manufactured following our three-step process:
- Highly controlled metallurgical composition achieved with a specific level of cleanliness and chemical composition at the mill
- Before each forging is released, demanding dimensional control, magnetic particle and micro etch tests are conducted to make certain that surface conditions and grain flow meet specifications
- All forgings are carefully inspected at receiving inspection and at several stages throughout the manufacturing process. A carefully monitored heat treatment process provides uniformity and optimum structural integrity.
